They’ve just wrapped up their Hannukah shows this December 5 – playing Christmas songs nonetheless. So we’re featuring Yo La Tengo for today’s indie Christmas countdown.
The track comes from Yo La Tengo’s 2002 album ‘Merry Christmas From Yo La Tengo’. Originally done by Jan Terri, Yo La Tengo gives it their own lo-fi flavor with noisy guitars and the whispy voice of Georgia Hubley taking the lead.
