Ze! is one loud and bitchy electropop female singer & songwriter from Kuala Lumpur. Teaming up with Belgian producer, Ruben Debusschere to create music influenced by the likes of MIA, Santogold, Yelle, New Young Pony Club and Peaches. Recent 2009 mini european tour saw Ze! opening for Chicks on Speed, Don Rimini, Mickey Moonlight and Afrikan Boy - including the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary Party (Bread & Butter Berlin Fashion Week), Midsommar Festival, Vice Magazine / Tony Hawk Ride Party (in Frankfurt), Ghetto Noize (Superzero@ Zurich), White Trash Club, ARM Gallery (Kassel) and Ciccionina (@ Delft). From starring in TV commercials by international brands like McDonalds, Toyota and Pizza Hut, electropop songstress Ze! (pronounced zay) has come a long way and from a very experimental musical background. Starting out as a rapper in an RnB girl trio, Ze! released a first solo EP My Make-Believe back in 2003 that saw her producing material from poetry to hiphop and DnB. In 2005, Ze! released the SHAMELESS debut album which was recorded in Byron Bay, Australia, where she completed a degree with SAE (School of Audio Engineering).
