Artist Bio:

After surviving a kidnapping in Colombia, an acquittal for felony assault on a police officer, not to mention a heroin addiction, Kevin Kendrick decided that life was too short to keep denying a love for pop music. So, in the summer of 2008 featuring Kendricks former Fat Mama band mates Jonathan Goldberger on guitar, Erik Deutsch on keyboards, Joe Russo on drums, Jonti Siman on bass, as well as Moira Meltzer-Cohen on backing vocals, he formed Brooklyn-based A big Yes and a small no. By fall, they began playing their brand of hyper-educated, condescending, expressionist avant-pop around their hometown of New York City. In February 2007, A Big Yes headed into the studio to record their much anticipated debut album Jesus That Looks Terrible On You, which was released in May, 2008 to heavy college radio play and critical acclaim. They are currently looking for a suitable label to release their next record which they are heading into the studio this spring to record.[Read More]
